Food Assistance Providers Are a Lifeline for Residents in Need

Even prior to the pandemic, Prince George's County faced high rates of food insecurity. The pandemic has only increased these numbers as health and economic challenges make it difficult for families to keep food on the table. Food pantries and providers have been a lifeline to many residents impacted by the pandemic. These organizations and faith-based groups have stepped up to serve our community with essential food, clothing, and resources to help folks get by during these challenging times.

In recognition and celebration of this invaluable work, we're spotlighting the great work of two of our county's food assistance providers that have been serving Prince Gerogian's throughout the pandemic; Foundain Community Enrichment, Inc. and Community Outreach & Development CDC. Thank you for serving our community!
